Peter Doherty / Hamburg

My dear readers,

it's been a while since my last post. (as always, sorry.. :D)
Pete Doherty played a gig here in Hamburg last month (a little acoustic session, in front of just 100 people) and he said something that has an important meaning to me and fits perfect in my current situation.
A girl in the crowd asked if he likes Hamburg, he replied "yeah, Hamburg's all right" and then he said that sometimes in life, the circumstances come together in one particularly place, (and everything is just fitting in this moment); he said that this place is Hamburg right now. And I have to say: This is a thousand percent my situation right now.. Since I'm living in Hamburg, everything just works out for me. Without any struggle. I think it is just right, everything is just right at the moment. Right place, right time. and a thousand opportunities if you know what you want.. In September/October I'm going to move to Berlin and I think that will be even better (although I can't imagine it right now!)..

However, Pete's gig was amazing, it was a wonderful night!
I'm happy that the Libertines got back together, they'll play two gigs in Germany in October. Guess where!
In my hometown (Düsseldorf) and in the town, I'll be living at that time (Berlin). I feel like winning the lottery! Haha :D

Review Franz Ferdinand in Hamburg, Docks 11.03.14

My dear readers,

I am so sorry for posting nothing in such a long time.. Meanwhile happened a lot in my life. I moved to Hamburg a few weeks ago and I'm working at a music distribution and I guess the music industry is my destination. I never was that happy in my life. 

To come back to the topic: I saw Franz Ferdinand a few days ago! They played at 'Docks Hamburg' and the location was very small!! I imagined it much bigger.. But it was absolutely amazing BECAUSE it was so small! I stood nearly in front of the band and you cold see them looking you directly in the eyes. Smashing! 

The show was very good, they played many old songs and the atmosphere did blow you away.. Franz had also much fun, they were always taking about Hamburg and about how happy they are to be in this city.

So it was a wonderful night that I'll not forget any time soon.

The Fratellis in Cologne /03.12.13

Hey guys!

I saw the Fratellis in Cologne last night and the show was amazing!

The atmosphere was really good - probably because it was a really small hall and there were not too many people included.

They are a great live-band and everyone was so sweaty and wet afterwards.

This show made me so happy.. Concerts in a familiar atmosphere are always the best ones (especially when the crowd is so full of action).

I made these videos before the crowd freaked out. After this it was almost impossible to record a video or to take a photo ;-)

(and YES, I stood in the second row - at least in the beginning :D )

btw I thought it would be better if I'd switch my blog to English- hope it's not a mistake though..lol
